Group Dog Training
All group sessions are held in our facility in Ladner at 5028 48th Ave, Delta BC (unless otherwise stated)

We advocate for the humane training of our dogs and training that has been scientifically proven to work. For that reason prong collars, choke chains, slip leads and e collars are not permitted in our facility*
*Returning group training dogs get a $40 discount on all Puppy Preschool/Kindergarten Basic Obedience and Training Trifecta classes!
*Note there are no refunds given within 48hrs of the start of the first class and in the event a refund is granted, a $10 admin fee will be charged

This class is designed specifically for our youngest pups (10-15 weeks old) to help them (and their family) get off to the best start pawsible! After getting a puppy the immediate weeks following are the most important. Things like socialization, sights, sounds, smells and introduction to people and other dogs are key for a puppy’s development. If socialization is not done properly or not at all, it can cause serious behavioural issues in the future. The goal of Puppy Preschool is to help you socialize your pup and teach you how to properly introduce your puppy to this big scary human world! We will also help you navigate through those pesky puppy behaviours like nipping, chewing, jumping up and cover topics such as separation anxiety and house training. Lastly, we will also cover desensitization to husbandry skills like brushing, teeth cleaning and nail trimming.
The goal of this class is to help create a happy, well-adjusted pup. This class does not include obedience cues. For the intro to obedience training puppies are recommended to enter our Puppy Kindergarten Class!

Puppy Kindergarten (16weeks – 6 Months)
$230 +gst for 5 sessions
Puppy Kindergarten in your next step (after Puppy Preschool) on your road to raising a happy, well adjusted puppy! This class is a controlled environment where your puppy will be able to learn social skills with other people and other puppies. We will cover proper introductions/greetings and proper ways to play. These social skills will help them easily overcome future issues and prepare them for your adventure together. We go a step further in Puppy Kindergarten and introduce your pup to some basic obedience cues such as sit, down, stay, come and loose leash walking.

Basic Obedience Classes
$230 +gst for 5 sessions
Basic obedience classes teach you the fundamentals of an obedient dog and give you the foundations of positive reinforcement training. Teaching younger dog obedience will help with impulse control and hyperactivity; the end results being a more controlled, well behaved dog. This course will introduce you to food lures, how and when to use them and how to successfully wean your dog from treats once the behaviour is learned. You will also learn how to effectively use a clicker to help with training. Using these skills, you will learn how to train your dog to sit, stay, down, heel, come, loose leash walk and focus. For dogs aged 6 months and up.

This class is designed to focus on the 3 main skills every dog owner wishes to master with their dogs; impulse control, loose leash walking and recall. You will learn the importance of impulse control to prevent/stop jumping and help your dogs be calmer outside around more distractions. You will also learn the ins and outs of creating a reliable recall and having your dog walk nicely on leash.

Recreational Agility Classes

Looking for a new and fun activity to do with your dog? Recreational Agility may be right for you! Learn how to engage with your dog on a whole new level. You and your dog will get to safely learn how to use equipment such as hurdles, weave poles, tunnels, teeter totters, and the dog walk! This is a fun class for those looking for something beyond obedience. This class is not suitable for reactive dogs.

Nosework Level 1 Classes
Looking for a new and fun activity to do with your dog? Then this class is for you! Intro to Nosework will demonstrate how the power of the marker and food reinforcement can be used to shape your dog’s searching behaviour. Also it is a great opportunity to work together in a team with your dog. Once the dog has learned how to search in the facility sniffing for high value treats, the odor of three essential oils (wintergreen, pine and thyme) will be added as part of the progression Cost: $300 +gst
Rocket Recall
$190 +gst for 4 sessions
Do you want your dog to have the Rocket Recall? Having a Rocket Recall means your dog will come when you call him/her, every time! It means no more having your dog ignore you at the park or beach and no one losing your voice as you repeat “come” over and over. Having a Rocket Recall also means keeping your dog safe by having the ability to redirect them from dangerous distractions (cars, cliffs, unfriendly animals). This class is for dogs who have taken a group class with us or another positive reinforcement trainer and is dog friendly.
For dogs 6 months and up who have Basic Obedience.
Coming in the Spring
Reactive Classes
Does your dog bark/lunge uncontrollably at other dogs? Do they turn into a different dog on leash reacting to everything? Or get stressed and/or upset at every day noises and situations? Don’t worry, these issues can be helped and this class is for you! Reactive dog class will help you understand why your dog is reactive and how to help change this behaviour. You will learn how to lower stress in your dog, build calm responses, teach alternate behaviours to reactivity and reinforce the absence of reactivity. This class will teach you distraction techniques, redirection, behaviour thresholds, focus and, most important, confidence in the handler. You will also be introduced to the training equipment needed and how to properly use it.
This is a smaller class due to the higher need of one on one instruction. Reactive Dog classes are tailored to your dog and your needs. First class is for owners only. Note if your dog has a bite history, this is not the class for them unfortunately.
