Basic Reactive Dog Training Class

Does your dog bark/lunge uncontrollably at other dogs, and people? Or get stressed and/or upset at every day noises and situations? Don’t worry, these issues can be solved and this class is for you! Reactive dog class will help you understand why your dog is reactive and how to help change this behaviour. You will learn how to lower stress in your dog, build calm responses, teach alternate behaviours to reactivity and reinforce the absence of reactivity. This class will teach you distraction techniques, redirection, behaviour thresholds, focus and, most important, confidence in the handler. You will also be introduced to the training equipment needed and how to properly use it.

This is a smaller class due to the higher need of one on one instruction. Reactive Dog classes are tailored to your dog and your needs. First class is for owners only.

For dogs 6 months and up.
