Thank you for your interest in our daycare at our Village Location! 

UPATE! We Have Moved! Opening January 3rd 2024 we will be located in a bigger space in Ladner Village! Our new location 5028 48th Ave is 3300sq ft and will have a full retail shop, nail trims, baths and grooming. We will also be introducing a fun agility component to daycare! We cannot wait to share our new space with you.

Good Hound Village: This facility is centrally located in Ladner Village! Our new 3300 sq foot space will include a retail shop, 2000sq ft of clean play and training space, and a grooming area (cuts, baths and nail trims!) in the back (opening in Feb 2024). This location is filled with toys, brain games, tunnels and other agility equipment designed to engage both your dog’s body and mind.  Dogs will go for walks as needed for potty and play breaks. Dogs are matched according to size, age and playstyle. We take proper and equal play seriously to make sure your dog is safe, happy and making the best friends possible. In addition to playtime, we also take time each day to review basic obedience skills with your dog. This way your dog will be physically and mentally tired when he/she goes home at the end of the day. This location is perfect for our young puppies, small and medium to large size dogs, and dogs who love to play with toys, explore new equipment and use their brains! Education is our Foundation! Its scary leaving your pet in the care of someone else. We get it. This is why we believe in education and certifications. Owner Andrew Richards is a certified and practicing dog trainer from the Animal Behaviour College and owner Mallory Richards is a certified and practicing Walks n Wage Pet First Aid Instructor. But education doesnt stop with us. Here at Good Hound we make sure all of our staff is highly educated and continually learning in the areas of positive reinforcement training, dog behaviour, proper dog play and first aid. We are a Certified Fear Free facility as our owners, managers and supervisors have all graduated from the Fear Free Daycare and Boarding Program. All of our staff have graduated with certificates from the Dog Handler Academy, certified in Walks N Wags Pet First Aid, are trained in dog behaviour by our certified dog trainers and partake in our Good Hound Education Incentive program where we pay them to take Continuing Education Courses in all things relating to pet care and training. We take the safety and security of your dogs very seriously!

Daycare Policies
– Dogs must be dog friendly with no aggression issues and will be assess by our trainer – Dogs must be fully vaccinated; rabies, bordetella, DHPP. Titre Tests accepted. – All dogs over 8 months must be spayed or neutered – Late fees: $5 every 10 minutes – We will feed and administer medications free of charge as long as you provide it
