On Sunday, October 18th, we will be offering a @walksnwagspetfirstaid Pet First Aid Course, taught by Liz Friday (Manager Liz!)

This intensive course covers everything from preventative medicine, CPR, to bone injuries, bleeding and wounds, parasites, AND MORE!

Following your success at this course, you will walk away with a 3 year certification in @walksnwagspetfirstaid , a hardcopy of the official Walks N' Wags Pet First Aid manual, and the ability to save lives!

Walks N' Wags is a nationally recognized Pet First Aid certification course, and the most comprehensive pet first aid program available. We are so proud to offer this course and be apart of the @walksnwagspetfirstaid family!

Today we had one final pawty with our sweet, sweet Akila, aka our honorary staff member. 🥹❤️

Akila has been with us since the very beginning of Good Hound, and today was her last day of daycare as she and her family are starting a new chapter and moving away. For almost 10 years, she has been a familiar and very special face in our daycare, growing alongside us and becoming such an important part of the Good Hound family.

Over the years, we’ve gotten to love her, snuggle her, watch her grow, and, of course, put up with her tripping handlers whenever she pleases. Akila has been such a steady presence here for so many years, and it’s hard to imagine Good Hound without her.

Today is definitely bittersweet. We’re so sad to see her go, but so grateful for all the years of memories, cuddles, laughs, and love we’ve gotten to share with her. Akila, thank you for being such a special part of our family for almost 10 years. We love you so much and are going to miss you more than you know. Good Hound won’t be quite the same without our honorary staff member around. ♥️🐾

Today we celebrated our sweet Cali with one last daycare pawty! 🩷 Cali has been a part of the GoodHound family since 2022, and over the years, she has become such a special part of our daycare. She’s the sweetest girl who absolutely loves getting all the love and attention from her handlers and friends, and she has always had a way of making everyone around her smile. Us handlers and all her besties are going to miss her dearly, and her boyfriend, Bowie, will miss her the most! Thankfully, they still get to hang out outside of daycare. ♥️

It has been so special getting to watch Cali grow and be a part of her life over the years. We’re going to miss seeing her sweet face at daycare, but we’re so grateful for all the wonderful memories we’ve made with her. We love you, Cali! Enjoy your retirement, sweet girl! 🐾💗

Everyone, please help us celebrate sweet Cali’s birthday!Cali has been attending daycare for quite some time, and throughout the years, we handlers have had the joy of watching her blossom into the most loving and fun girl. From patiently waiting for us to throw her ball, to playing with all her friends, to finding the coziest spot on the beds, Cali always brings her own special kind of joy to daycare.She’s such a sweet girl with a big personality, and we’re so happy we got to make her birthday extra special today!

Everyone, please join us in celebrating Hardy boy’s birthday! Hardy has been a regular daycare attendee for years, and getting to watch him grow into the wonderful boy he is has been such a pleasure. Whether he’s running around with his favourite rope toy, zooming around the daycare and partying with his friends, giving his handlers lots of hugs, or making sure we know exactly what he thinks, Hardy never fails to put a smile on all of our faces. Hardy is such a wonderful boy, and we were so happy to get to celebrate him today!

We are thrilled to announce handler Sarah's promotion to Good Hound Village's Manager! Sarah has been with us for over 4 years, 2 locations, changing staff/managers and has cared for and loved all our GH dogs. We cant think of someone more deserving for this role. She is a bright light and is clearly passionate about dogs and providing the absolute best care.
