Did you one of the most important parts of daycare is SLEEP! Dogs love to sleep, in fact dogs NEED to sleep/rest throughout the day to be happy, well adjusted dogs!
In order to be a successful daycare dog, your dog has to be able to stop playing, take a break and rest in a group setting. Its much harder than it sounds!
This is the reason our daycare drop off cut off is 10am- so all dogs are on a similar energy level. This is also the reason we often recommend a few half days when a dogs starts out. Half days give us a chance to help teach them to settle before they get super over tired from a full day. Over tired = anxious, cranky, stressed, overstimulated messes 😱 If they cant settle, daycare is not the right fit. And that's ok!
But also, how cute is nap time 😍😍😍

Rat Terriers are famous for their independent thinking, their strong will to explore/hunt and stubbornness. So if Rogue can do it, so can your dog!

Everyone, please join us in celebrating little miss Bella’s 3rd birthday! Bella is such a joy to have at daycare each week. From her early-morning zoomies when she arrives, to her sassy little facial expressions, laying on the floor insisting on belly rubs, using her little legs to jump to great heights, or simply relaxing on the bed, Bella never fails to fill our hearts with her cuteness.
